In Fall 2022 at Tufts University, Ben Mizrach and Harrison Clark debuted “ALMANAC” a new musical work, as the Tufts Fall musical. The musical represents a three-year long musical collaboration and partnership between Ben and Harrison. A combination of Harrison’s individual research on black student life at Tufts, the musical legacy of black composers and performers at Tufts vis a vis legendary composer T.J Anderson, and my personal experience threading the line between artist and student served as the narrative underpinning of our thematic material.

ALMANAC at Tufts centered around the central question of “What is the price of cultural and artistic agency for the Black American Artist.” To read more about our Tufts production click here.

In December 2023, Harrison and Ben reunited to develop and produce Orbiting Lovers & Contraband as part of the Office Hours residency program at the Kennedy Center. The project explores connections and disconnections - with each other, our environments, our ancestors, and ourselves. Listen to the album here.
